Farrow & Ball Reveal Nine Lucky New Colors!
Farrow and Ball is a company with a long history. Founded in 1946, the paint continues to be made in a factory in Dorset, England by the finest craftsmen and women, with the finest ingredients. This week, in honor of it’s 70 years in business, F&B has revealed nine exciting new colors. It’s a pretty big deal when F&B makes a change to it’s carefully edited range of 132 colors, these lucky colors have been three years in the making!
All lovely and livable and each on it’s way to becoming a Farrow and Ball classic. Here is the first look!
Inchyra Blue No.289
The saturation of color in a gray, greenish blue is a perfect addition to the F&B color range. An excellent choice when Hague Blue is too intense.
Crazy about this incredibly soft pink gray. What a lovely way to add a bit of color perfectly complimenting our grays and still remains neutral. In love!
Salon Drab No. 290
Farrow and Ball wanted this color have a mid 19th century authenticity to it, but they also likes the versatility of it in modern homes for those looking for just the right chocolate brown.
Yeabridge Green No.286
Farrow and Ball describes Yeabridge green as the cleanest and least complicated shade of the F&B greens. Filling a much needed gap.
Vardo No. 288
Farrow & Ball describe’s Vardo as “a color full of life and joy.”
Shadow White No.282
Shadow White is a lighter version of the popular Shaded White, without the yellow overtones of Slipper Satin. This is sure to be a go-to neutral!
Drop Cloth No.283
The color of a painter’s drop cloth. “It’s a nod to all those loyal painters who have flown the Farrow & Ball flag for so long.” Another neutral, a bit deeper than Shadow White, and a perfect compliment.
Cromarty No. 285
A minty blue, described by F&B as not to blue and not too gray. Inspired by the swirling mists and seas of Scotland. Sits well with Pigeon and Mizzle.
Worsted No. 284
A great stone gray color, lighter than Mole’s Breath.
