PH: Tell us about one of your favorite holiday traditions.

LW: I don’t think I can pick just one! Everything from decorating our house and entertaining friends and family, I love the entire Christmas season. I will say watching Christmas Vacation with my family is always something we love!

PH: What is one of the most heartwarming gifts you’ve received?

LW: I was recently selected to be an honoree for the Make A Wish organization. Seeing how generous my family, friends and social media friends have been has been a huge inspiration for me. It’s so nice to see how much people care and how generous people are. Lots of kind caring people out there.

PH: What is your medium and what do you love most about creating?

LW: For my abstract paintings, I prefer using acrylic paint and wax sticks on gallery wrapped canvas. I always paint something that looks great in my own house since that’s where it lives until it’s sold. My paintings in my house are like musical chairs – nothing stays where it is for very long. I like working on big canvases that can be the focal point of a wall. . . whether it’s over a fireplace mantle, or over a sofa, size versatility is important because I like my art to work in multiple locations throughout the house.
