Interior Walls and Ceilings
Finding the best paint for your walls and ceilings couldnโt be easier โ choose from two matte emulsions and enjoy limitless possibilities. Between the signature velvety matte of Estate Emulsion and the durable, washable finish of Modern Emulsion, weโve got every room in your home covered.
For a washable and durable matte finish we recommend Modern Emulsion.
Modern Emulsion is our super-tough finish for interior walls and ceilings. Washable, scuff-proof, and mold and mildew resistant, itโs suitable for use in every room of the home. From busy hallways to moisture-prone kitchens and bathrooms, Modern Emulsion is available in our full range of colours in a beautiful matte finish.
For our signature chalky, very matte finish we recommend Estate Emulsion.
Estate Emulsion is our signature finish for interior walls and ceilings. Its distinctive chalky matte finish minimizes imperfections, and scatters light to fully express the depth of our colours. The flat, velvety effect it creates even brings added richness to darker colours.
Interior Wood and Metal
Bringing new life to faded furniture or updating kitchen cabinets is easy with a choice of three Farrow & Ball finishes. From the sophisticated satin of Estate Eggshell to the full-on glamour of Full Gloss, each of our low-odor, water based trim finishes offers its own distinctive way of upgrading your wood and metal surfaces.
For a low-shine finish, we recommend Estate Eggshell.
Estate Eggshell is a washable, water based satin finish for interior wood and metal. Its soft low-shine finish brings an understated elegance to trim and furniture and is suitable for doors, kitchen cabinets, radiators, and other wood and metalwork throughout the home.
For a mid-shine finish, we recommend Modern Eggshell.
Modern Eggshell is our toughest interior finish, adding colour and protection to wood, metal, and concrete surfaces. This ultra-durable eggshell is tough enough for floors, and it can also be used throughout the home on skirting, doors, kitchen cabinets, furniture, and radiators.
For a high-shine finish, we recommend Full Gloss.
Full Gloss is an ultra-high-gloss water based finish suitable for both interior and exterior wood and metal, as well as bringing a touch of glamor to walls and ceilings. Our highest-shine finish, itโs resistant to water, flaking, peeling, and fading for up to six years.*

Exterior Walls

For exterior wood and metal cladding, we recommend Exterior Eggshell.

Exterior Masonry is our super-matte, long-lasting finish for exterior walls. Its water-resistant formula protects walls, while at the same time offering the highest level of water vapor permeability to allow them to breathe. Applied in line with our Product Advice Sheets, it resists flaking, peeling, and fading for up to 15 years.*

Historic Features
If you have period features that require a little extra care and attention, our traditional Dead Flat finish could be what youโre looking for.
For a very matte finish on interior wood and metal, we recommend Dead Flat.
Dead Flat is a delicate coating designed to draw interest. It is blended from an alkyd resin to recreate an 18th-century paint finish, and is suitable for interior wood trim, plaster, and metal.
